These terms govern the use of Waifuchat AI at waifuchat-ai.com. Please read them before creating an account.

Acceptance. By using Waifuchat AI you agree to these terms in full. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.
Eligibility. The service is intended for adults aged 18 or over. By continuing you confirm that you meet that requirement and that local law permits your use.
Nature of the service. Waifuchat AI provides conversation with invented, fictional personalities. No companion is a real person, an employee, an adviser or a representative of any organisation.
No professional advice. Nothing said in a conversation constitutes medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. Consult a qualified professional for any matter of that kind.
Accounts. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details supplied at registration and for keeping your credentials confidential. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred.
Acceptable use. You agree not to use the service to produce or solicit unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory or sexually explicit material involving minors or non-consenting persons.
Prohibited technical conduct. Automated scraping, credential stuffing, reverse engineering, load testing and any attempt to circumvent access controls are not permitted.
Impersonation. You may not use the service to impersonate a real, identifiable individual, or to create material that presents a fictional companion as a real person.
Your content. You retain ownership of the messages you write. You grant Waifuchat AI a limited licence to store and process them for the sole purpose of operating the service.
Our content. Companion names, biographies, portraits, page copy, layout and code are owned by Waifuchat AI or its licensors and may not be reproduced commercially without written permission.
Generated output. Conversation output is provided for personal use. You are responsible for reviewing anything you republish elsewhere and for ensuring it complies with applicable law.
Availability. The service is provided on an as-available basis. Features may be added, altered or withdrawn, and maintenance may interrupt access without prior notice.
Fees and plans. Optional paid plans are described at the point of purchase. Prices include applicable taxes where required and may change with notice for future billing periods.
Billing and renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Refunds. Statutory withdrawal rights are honoured where they apply. Outside those cases, refunds are granted at our discretion, normally where the service failed materially.
Free tier limits. Free usage is subject to fair-use allowances. Persistent attempts to exceed them through multiple accounts may result in suspension.
Third-party services. Payment processing, hosting and delivery rely on third parties. Their terms apply to their portion of the service and are outside our control.
Age verification. We may request reasonable confirmation of age where local law requires it, and may suspend access until confirmation is provided.
Reporting. If a conversation produces material that breaches these terms, please report it through the contact page. Reports are reviewed by a person.
Moderation. We may review conversations where a report has been made or where automated safeguards flag a serious risk, and may restrict access as a result.
Suspension and termination. Accounts that breach these terms may be suspended or closed. You may close your own account at any time from the account area.
Data on termination. Following closure, conversation data is deleted or anonymised within the period described in the privacy notice, except where law requires retention.
Disclaimer of warranties. The service is provided without warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability, to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability arising from use of the service is limited to the amount paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Indemnity. You agree to indemnify Waifuchat AI against claims arising from your unlawful use of the service or your breach of these terms.
Changes to the terms. These terms may be updated. Material changes are announced on the site, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Assignment. We may transfer these terms as part of a reorganisation or sale of the business. Your rights under them are unaffected.
Severability. If any clause is held unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue in full effect.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the place of establishment of the operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
